School News District Diversity Dance Posted by alphaadmin on Attention All Students, on Wednesday March 5 the Burnaby School District will be hosting its 7th annual District Diversity Dance! This dance is open to all high school students in the Burnaby, in the spirit of celebrating the diversity and inclusivity of our students. Tickets will go on sale in the school office from Friday January 31 until Tuesday March 4 for $10. Starbucks will be serving up free drinks, Blanche MacDonald Center will be doing make up; there will be a photobooth, and Vancouver’s Drag Queen Kendall Gender, and Drag King, Androgynass will be performing live with DJ Slade! There are only 35 tickets available per school, so buy them early to avoid missing out. The theme of the dance is Nautical/ Lost city under the Sea so wear your best themed outfits!
